Kimball Computers offers many repair services. I can troubleshoot and repair both software and hardware problems. My labor charge is only a $50 flat rate per computer. This means one computer fully repaired, built, or troubleshooted is only $50. If your computer is in really bad shape and needs hardware for it to be fully operational that is extra. However for desktop computers I have tons of parts I can use for the repair that are very affordable. My rates are extremely flexible, for instance if you have 2 computers with small issues I will only charge you $50.

Virus Removal

I can remove most computer virus infections without re-installing windows or deleting any of your personal files. Many companies like Geek Squad and even small independent computer repair businesses will just blast every file away and start from scratch. While this is the cleanest way to do it they are ignoring the wishes of their customers. Many don’t want to start over and some have expensive software with licenses that is not easily transferable to a new windows installation. I have only run into one computer that I had to fully clean out to remove an infection. Viruses are stubborn but I have the tools and knowledge to remove them fully. Don’t go to someone who is going to try to charge you more for doing less.

What is a weird error? Weird error is the most simple term for a wide range of strange occurrences that happen to many computers. These range from errors such as “NTLDR is missing”, “Kernel Panic”, “DLL missing or corrupted”, and many others. The most common is the “Blue Screen of Death”. The blue screen of death is a screen that happens when the computer cannot recover from an error. The most common cause of this is a piece of software malfunctioning or interfering with another program. Another cause of a blue screen of death is a piece of hardware that has broken either by wear and tear or another more serious cause. I can troubleshoot any error your computer is giving you and fix it.

I repair and troubleshoot hardware problems. What is a “hardware problem”? Well the most common hardware issues are the computer not turning on, constantly rebooting and random freezing. Some don’t seem like hardware problems and could show up as a blue screen of death or another error. Hardware problems usually take me a short time to troubleshoot and I can repair them on site or take the computer back to my shop for overnight repair.

General Troubleshooting includes anything that needs to be fixed but you don’t know what is wrong. This could be errors from software, hardware to connection problems with your internet. If it’s computer or technology related I am confident I can fix it. I have worked on computers with very specific and expensive software and fixed issues even the official support company was unable to. I don’t get paid unless the problem is fixed so you have nothing to lose going with Kimball Computers.

If your business requires computers built then you have come to the right place. I will spec and build however many computers you need. By spec I mean I will find the best and most affordable parts for what the computer is being used for. I don’t stop there, I also install anti-virus that is free for life (Microsoft security essentials) as well as Microsoft Office and other software essential for an office. All legal and validating copies of software. I have many legal copies of Windows XP and Vista so you don’t have to worry about buying an operating system, it’s included in my Per Computer Charge!
